Preface to the Updates to “The Experimenters Guide to the Joe Cell”
(note: this preface have been written after update 14 and does not consider 15 and following)
These updates are intended to for reading by everyone
who wants to complete a functional Joe Cell.
Unless you have a background in cell work they do not make sense alone
and should be read after The Experimenters’ Guide to the Joe Cell. Broadly
speaking:-
The important updates for builders are updates 2, 3,
6, 7 and 8
The important updates for those that want to
understand the cell are updates 1, 4, 5, 6 10, 12 and 13.
The more esoteric aspects of cell work are found in
Updates 11 and 14
Updates 9 thru 12 are a set of transcripts of a tape
made during a discussion with Joe. Most people find these transcripts very hard
to understand because Joe speaks in a very unusual way. It is recommended that
you save these for a time when you feel especially alert and eager!
